Alicia Pritchett
President & Founding Board Member
Alicia Pritchett is a Founder and serves as President of Women in Streaming Media (WSM) and has overseen growth from 50 to over 1200 women within 5 years. For nearly 30 years, she has found her passion in raising two adults, being immersed in high tech, serving her community and her customers. Always learning, always a student and always interested in being the conduit that allows companies to become more efficient and profitable.
She is the strategist for Media & Entertainment at Fastly and has been instrumental in cultivating their largest and most well-known streaming clients in the industry over the last 8 years. When Fastly went public on the New York Stock Exchange in May 2019, Alicia stood on the podium next to Fastly’s Founder and CEO, Artur Bergman, to ring the Closing Bell to celebrate their First Day of Trading. As a founding member of Fastly’s Diversity & Inclusion Council, she works to ensure integration and consideration of Inclusion and Diversity in policies, programs, practices and products. She’s also driven the Steering Committees for the Women’s ERG as well as the Black ERG.
Alicia serves as Vice President for the Streaming Video Technology Alliance and formerly served as a Chair of the Live Streaming Working Group. She speaks across the world on streaming trends, diversity, skills, talent and the future of technology. Her webinar, “Diversity, Skills & Talent”, built around the core challenge of creating a deep and inclusive grassroots pool of rich engineering talent for the future, was published with IBC as a leading industry trend.
Megan Wagoner
Vice President of Board, Head of Mentorship Program
Megan Wagoner is a highly accomplished technical executive with over 17 years of experience spanning services, software, hardware, and cloud sectors throughout the media & entertainment industry.
She currently serves as Vice President, Media & Entertainment Sales at Endeavor Streaming, where she initiates, develops and manages internal and external relationships within the vertical across the US and LATAM markets. Before joining Endeavor Streaming, Megan served as Regional Vice President of Media & Entertainment for Bitmovin, a global software company within the video streaming market. Prior to Bitmovin, Megan held various executive roles at global technology leaders such as Vimond Media Solutions, Imagine Communications (formerly Harris), and Nexstar.
Megan holds a master’s in business administration from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree in communication and journalism from Anderson University.


Megan Davies
Head of Membership
Megan Davies is an International Marketing & Communications Leader with extensive experience in the tech and media industries. She studied Classical Studies and French at the University of Exeter and holds a Level 6 Award in Digital Strategy from The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Megan’s expertise lies in creating international go-to-market strategies, building communities, and running kick ass events. She has held various roles in International marketing at Fastly and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and prior to that she was at Discovery Channel in the Corporate Communications division.
Florence Agboma
Head of Sponsorship & Speaker Engagement
Florence Agboma is the Streaming Technology Quality Manager at Sky, Europe’s leading media and entertainment company with over 24 million customers across six countries. She has over 14 years of experience in the streaming industry. Her work includes playback experience of Live and on-demand videos, delivering streaming innovations and video roadmaps.
Florence holds a PhD degree in Computing and Electronics Systems from the University of Essex, United Kingdom.


Polly Hickling
Head of Education
Polly Hickling is the course leader for the media technology programme and specifically the BSc Hons Live Event Technology course at Solent University in Southampton. She joined the team in September 2009 and has had a variety of roles in research and teaching before becoming the course leader for the programme in 2013.
Polly has strong connections within the media technology industry, particularly with the course alumni and organises work experience, placements and graduate positions with companies within the broadcast industry. She teaches the broadcast elements of the course focusing on file formats, workflows and systems. She has a keen interest in e-learning research, predominantly the use of video and mobile applications for online and distance learning and completed a master’s in media applications development in 2017.
She sits on the SMPTE Education Advisory Committee and the UK Board of Managers and is also on the IET Media Technical Network Committee.
